Step 1
Talk to Mandark in Genius Grove.

The Gravity Decelerators that we use to power the tree house's floatation device are manufactured by Mandark Industries. Fuse is trying to sabotage them and we can't be caught without one. Go to Genius Grove and ask Mandark if he'll give us a spare.
Yes, I will give you a Mandark Industries Gravity Decelerator. But you will need to recover a Protocore from the infected zone behind my lab if you want it to have any power. Ha ha ha!
Step 2
Collect the Protocore.

Mandark wants you to go into the infected zone near his house to collect a Protocore. Be careful! The area is infested with Fuse goo.
Ha ha! You've done it. Bring the Protocore back to me.
Step 3
Return Protocore to Mandark.

Deliver the Protocore to Mandark so he can give you a spare Gravity Decelerator. You're doing great!
