The Past

In the Past, Agent K9 was stationed in Peach Creek Commons, Townsville Center, Mt. Blackhead, and other areas

In Cats & Dogs, Agent K9 says that he’s on a top-secret mission with the cats, and that he needs the players help in order to get him started on it, since he can’t leave the yard. He first tasks the player with getting him a newspaper, which will contain a code in its headlines that Agent K9 will decode and retrieve instructions from. After giving the newspaper to Agent K9, he decodes the message, and says that the player needs to get him some more items. Agent K9 then sends the player to get a ball of yarn so he can give it to the cats as a sign of good faith. After getting the yarn, Agent K9 instructs the player to get a sack of birdseed, in order to bribe information out of a stool pigeon informant. After acquiring the birdseed, Agent K9 sends the player to get a beef bone, so he can have a snack. After getting the beef bone, the player returns to Agent K9, to which he thanks them for their service, tells them that they might have helped to save the world, and gives the player two Cats & Dogs themed shirts as tokens of gratitude.

• 07.19.2010: Agent K9 was added to the game as promotion for the Summer 2010 release of Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore.^[1] He could be found in Peach Creek Commons (The Future), Peach Creek Commons, Townsville Center, and Mount Blackhead where he would hand out the mission "Cats & Dogs."
• 08.02.2010: Agent A9 was removed from the game, and the two shirts he gave as rewards for "Cats & Dogs" were turned into Courage the Cowardly Dog themed shirts, with the dog-themed one becoming a Courage-themed shirt, and the cat-themed one becoming a Katz-themed shirt.^[2]

Origin

Agent K9 is a representant of the dogs first featured in the Cats & Dogs franchise that debuted in 2001. In that media, regular dogs are presented as sapient creatures of human caliber and members of the organization D.O.G.S. The central story of this franchise focuses on the rivalry between the cats and dogs, who fight a secret war, which goes unnoticed by humans, in their neighborhoods using high-tech equipment, organization and tactics that are near-identical to those used in human espionage.

• Agent K9 is the first and only NPC in Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall who is derived from characters in a live-action movie series.
