The Jump Pad[1] is a gimmick that appears in Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall. It is a device for propelling the player upward.

Physical appearance

The basic appearance for a typical Jump Pad is a round pad that displays a hologram of a red spring cord that slowly turns upward, with three purple dots aligned above it. The exact design details of its pad depend on the surrounding environment, which usually make up its construction.

In gameplay, the Jump Pads are used by players to quickly reach higher altitudes than normal for the purpose of getting onto ledges above, getting over otherwise impassible walls, or crossing wide gaps. Each Jump Pad launches the Avatar upward a certain height before they start falling down again. They can be found in Infected Zones, areas, and certain Fusion Lairs.

To use a Jump Pad, the Avatar just has to touch it. While propelled upward, the player can move the Avatar around using normal commands as well.
