The avatar[2] is the protagonist of Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall. At the start of the game, the player creates a character for themselves, and they play the game as that character. Each avatar is equipped with Nanos, which are earned through Nano Missions and Codes and a weapon from a variety of thrown, melee, pistol, rifle, rocket, and shattergun choices.

- 02.16.2011:
- The avatar would start the game off in the Academy instead of in the Future.[3]
- The avatar had the Dash and Glide added to their moveset.[3]
