Jake is a NPC in Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall. He is a magical anthropomorphic dog from another world, and Finn's adopted older brother.

Physical appearance

Jake takes the form of an anthropomorphic yellow dog of the bulldog breed. He has large black eyes with white highlights in them.

The Future

In the Future, Jake was alive. He was stationed in Sector V as a Jump Pad for heroes to hop onto or look at the new statues of Ben, Chowder, Finn, Flapjack, and Rex.

The Past

In the Past, Jake is seen in the Ice King's Fortress, as well as in Sector V, positioned near the statues of Hero's Square. In both locations, he is an NPC and a Jump Pad. In Sector V in particular, he helps the Avatar reach the new statues of Ben, Chowder, Finn, Flapjack, and Rex in Hero Square.

Jake, Finn, and Princess Bubblegum had arrived on Earth to track down and stop the Ice King, who managed to flee Ooo and entered the Cartoon Network Universe to kidnap princesses. After arriving, Finn requests to see the hero in Orchid Bay to help him, Jake, and Princess Bubblegum save princesses who have been abducted by Ice King. Once the hero arrives he/she tricks Ice King into believing that he/she is the television repair man. Ice King lets him/her into his palace and the hero finds the gang in his basement. There he/she is told of the gangs plan to rescue the kidnapped princesses. Once the hero is filled in about the plan, Bubblegum sends him/her to save the first princess: Candy Wife.^[1]

After getting the mission from Princess Bubblegum, The hero invades the Ice King's dungeon to set her free. There Jake helps the hero get out of a pit. Once out of the pit, the hero clears the path of Glacial Golems and heads towards Candy Wife's cage.^[2]

After the hero completes the task for Princess Bubblegum, Finn request his/her assistance for the next part of their plan. He seems to have overheard the Ice King call her Princess Princess, so he guesses that means she's even more of a princess than Bubblegum. Princess Bubblegum seems to be a bit jealous for some reason, thus meaning that he can't rescue Princess. The hero then sets out to rescue her from a prison inside a giant ice cavern through a dungeon door. Inside, Finn tells the hero to hop down off the platform he/she is standing on (via NanoCom), take out some of the Glacial Golems below, and make his/her way to Jake, who has said that he'll meet the hero on the other side of the cavern to help him/her out. After the hero talks to Jake, he waits for the hero to hop on his back so he/she can jump onto the quickly moving floating ice platforms. When the hero reaches the prison platform, he/she must defeat a giant Ice Titan to clear the way. Once the Ice Titan is defeated, the hero rescues Princess. Once freed, Princess shows ungratefulness towards the heroes actions.^[3]

Sometime later, Jake came to suspect Finn was up to something. He claims that he saw him sneaking off a few nights ago and looked mysterious. Soon the Enchiridion went missing. He also states the Finn was also glowing green. Jake requests that hero assists in solving the mystery. The hero talks to Finn, but Finn seems completely lost and confused on what the hero is talking about. He suggests he/she go talk to Princess Bubblegum about this, and see if she saw anything. The Princess, confesses that see saw Finn down by a mysterious passage a few nights ago. Jake contacts the hero (via NanoCom) to find the passage. Once the hero finds it Jake requests that he/she go in and investigate. The hero climbs the ice caverns until he/she reaches the ledge. The hero then defeats defeats 5 Glacier Golems. Jake soon finds out that the Ice Titans have the Enchiridion, and lets the hero defeat them for it. It is soon discovered that Fusion Finn stole the Enchiridion. The hero defeats the Fusion, and restores the trust between the two friends and creates a Jake Nano.^[4]

The following list contains the Patch Notes pertaining to Jake in Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall:

05.25.2010: Jake and his Nano were added to the game, along with the FusionFall Adventures expansion, "Ice King Invasion".^[5] He could be found in the basement level inside the Ice King's Castle in Orchid Bay where he hands out the mission "Double Take"
06.23.2010: Jake was added to Sector V and Sector V (The Future). He could be found at the monument in Hero Square in both locations where he serves as a Jump Pad for the Avatar to reach monument's statues.^[6]
02.16.2011: Jake was removed from Sector V (The Future), along with the Future.^[7]

Origin

Jake, from . — Jake, from *Adventure Time*.

Jacob "Jake" the Dog, Sr. originates from the 2010 American fantasy animated television series Adventure Time. In that media, he is the deuteragonist of the series. An anthropomorphic dog with alien shapeshifting powers, he is the spawn of the extra-dimensional alien Warren Ampersand, the son of his surrogate parents Joshua and Margaret, the half-brother of Jermaine and the big brother of his family's adoptive son, Finn. Jake himself is laid-back and without worry about much in life, but lacks in maturity. Acting as Finn's world-wise mentor, he always has an advice up his sleeve for Finn, although they are typically inconsistent. Despite that, and his lack of focus, he is up for pretty much everything.

Born from Joshua when Warren bit him, Jake grew up alongside Jermaine and Finn after the latter was adopted by his parents. Staying by Finn's side as his lifelong mentor, partner and best friend, the two of them had many adventures together across Ooo and beyond. In addition, Jake eventually had children with Lady Rainicorn, although they quickly outgrew their need for him. He also eventually met Warren, although the alien only wanted to use him to restore his dying health. Years later, after living his life, Jake had one last adventure with Finn in the afterlife before choosing to be reborn alongside Finn.

Trivia

In the Ice King's Castle, Jake has a rock in front of him that serves as his NPC marker, since Jake himself serves as a Jump Pad in that location.
