The Past

Azmuth has come to the Earth to aid in defeating Lord Fuse, or at least to make sure that the Omnitrix (Ultimatrix) is working properly. Even though he has come to Earth to assist, he seems to take very little part in the conflict.

Origin

Azmuth, from . — Azmuth, from *Ben 10: Ultimate Alien*.

Azmuth originates from the 2005 American animated series Ben 10 and its follow-up series. In that media, he is one of the central supporting character of the series. A galvan from Galvan Prime, Azmuth is the smartest being in three (arguably five) galaxies, if not the entire universe. He is also the creator of Omnitrix and its successors. Originally a bit paranoid and very pessimistic about the universe, Azmuth is nonetheless devoted to peace after painful experiences and shows a no-nonsense attitude. Regardless, he has mellowed out a little over time.

When starting out his career, Azmuth was leagues above his peers. However, his ambitions led to the creation of a deadly weapon that ended up costing many lives and his relationship with his love interest. After that, Azmuth devoted himself to peaceful scientific pursuits, and would aid with things like the defeat of Dagon. Eventually, he created the Omnitrix to help all intelligent beings understand each other better, but was disgusted when people like Vilgax sought to wield it as a weapon. Eventually, he was willing to let the Omnitrix destroy the universe until Ben changed his mind. After that, Azmuth returned to his people and would occasionally aid Ben when his need was greatest or when they dealt with significant threats.
