Hex is a NPC in Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall. He is a dangerous human sorcerer who has fought Ben Tennyson.[1] Once spreading chaos everywhere he went with his Charms of Bezel, he lost much of his power when the charms were destroyed. However, he has never given up the hope that he will be able to somehow restore them.[2]
During Planet Fusion's invasion, Hex had an encounter with the Fusion Spawns that let him see an unlikely opportunity to use the creatures' adaptive properties to create entirely new charms from existing small fragments of the stones. Though he has since formed a tentative alliance with the Tennysons to take on Planet Fusion, he is planning to turn on them once he regains some of his former power.[2]
Physical appearance
With his choice of fashion, Hex resembles a cross between a voodoo priest and a heavy metal refugee.[2]

Fusion Invasion
The Past
Hex
After encountering the Fusion Spawns, Hex sees their adaptive properties as a way to finally fixing the Charms. He has an uneasy alliance with the Tennysons and the heroes to fight Lord Fuse and his armies, but he ultimately plans to turn on them once he regains some of his power. Hex is also interested in Coco and her eggs, but admits that she is an enigma, even to himself.
Non-Prophet Organization
Hex aimed to get some of his power back by using a stone of transference in the Hani-Baba Temple to transfer the powers of prophecy from the hero to himself. Unfortunately, Billy had stolen the powers prior to Hex, leaving him empty handed.

Origin
Hex, from Ben 10: Ultimate Alien.
Hex originates from the 2005 American animated series Ben 10 and its follow-up series. In that media, he is a recurring antagonist in the series. A self-proclaimed "master magician", he is the paternal uncle and guardian of Gwen Tennyson's rival, Charmcaster after the latter's father was killed. Originally a power-hungry, ruthless and arrogant megalomaniac who sought to increase his magical prowess by any means necessary and rule the world, he treated his niece very harshly. However, he would occasionally admit that he had a soft spot his family. Eventually though, Hex reformed his ways.
Raised in the dimension of Legerdomain, Hex would cause chaos everywhere he went on Earth with his Charms of Bezel until the he was defeated by the Tennysons and his charms were destroyed by Gwen. Hex continued from then on to seek the means to restoring his power. As the years passed, during which he had more encounters with Gwen and more losses, Hex eventually reformed his ways after overcoming depression and so became a professor at Friedkin University, where he became one of Gwen's teachers and a good friend to her.
Trivia
- Hex's appearance in Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall was not changed to match his updated design change in Ben 10: Alien Force, despite Gwen, Vilgax, Ben, and Kevin getting redesigns.
