Albedo is a NPC in Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall. He is an evil, artificial doppelganger of his sworn adversary, Ben.

Physical appearance

Albedo's appearance is that of a corrupt version of Ben. As such, he appears as a slim human teen with short white hair, pale skin, and red eyes. For attire, he wears a gray shirt, a red jacket with a black stripes on the left side and the number "10" written on the left chest area, gray pants, and black and white sneakers.

Fusion Invasion

The Future

In the Future, Albedo was seen during the Birthday Bash where it would seem that he wanted to find Ben to settle the score between them and thought the NanoComs were somehow related to the Omnitrix. Specifically, he would appear in Pokey Oaks South.

The Past

In the Past, Albedo showed up during the Birthday Bash where it would seem that he wanted to find Ben to settle the score between them and thought the NanoComs were somehow related to the Omnitrix. Specifically, he would appear in Pokey Oaks South.

During a fan club gathering, Albedo somehow sets lose a Appoplexian, trying to set Ben up for damages on Mojo's Volcano. Max sends the Avatar to investigate the Rath sightings. After talking to Rath Fan #23, the hero gains entrance into Mojo's Volcano; there the hero finds out that Albedo is behind the damage to Mojo's Volcano. The hero quickly defeats Albedo and as a result receives a Rath Nano.

• 01.20.2010: Albedo was added to the game, along with the Birthday Bash content.^[1] He could be found in Pokey Oaks South and Pokey Oaks South (The Future).
• 02.10.2010: Albedo was removed from the game, along with the Birthday Bash content.
• 09.14.2011: Albedo was added to the game as a part of "Let Me Tell You About Rath!".^[2]

Origin

Albedo originates from the 2008 American animated series Ben 10: Alien Force and its follow-up series. In that media, he is a (former) Galvan and one of Azmuth's old assistants. Arrogant, egotistical and bitter, he sees Ben as unworthy of the Omnitrix technology.

After being refused his own Omnitrix by Azmuth, Albedo created a bootleg model of it for himself, only for it to synchronize with Ben's Omnitrix and making Ben's human form Albedo's default form. Due to sharing Ben's DNA, Albedo also inherited Ben's habits and cravings, much to his disgust. In an attempt to get back to normal, Albedo tried taking Ben's Omnitrix, only to have his DNA damaged and turning him into a physically corrupt Ben. Swearing revenge, Albedo made the Ultimatrix and allied himself with Vilgax, only to later be betrayed and be forced to give Ben the Ultimatrix. From then on, Albedo continued to antagonize Ben and his allies, but eventually got punished further for his misdeeds by being turned into an eleven-year-old Ben. After that, Albedo teamed up with Vilgax a few more times, but eventually got captured and sentenced to clean-up for a long time.

Trivia

• Albedo is a word that means "whiteness" or "reflecting power of a surface," possibly in reference both to his genetically changed human hair and to the fact that he seems to mirror Ben's appearance.
• Albedo is the only non-Fusion in Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall that the player gets a Nano for defeating.
• In Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall, Albedo's Omnitrix is green. In its original media, it is red.
• He is the only non-Fusion NPC in Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall to be a color swap of another.
• The "Let Me Tell You about Rath!", in which the Avatar fights Albedo, might have been meant to be an "Alien Abduction" mission, since it had a link that led to its unfinished page, but it is no longer a "FusionFall Adventure" mission (just as with "Defender Amp Fuse".)
• In "Let Me Tell You about Rath!", when the player has to fight Albedo, if the player can get close to Albedo without getting into a fight with him, he will say, "Do you have any chili fries?" or "What is it that you want?!", which are his lines at the Birthday Bash.
• Albedo's shirt color has been depicted as being white, black, and grey across the Ben 10 series and in related media. In the original Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall, Albedo's shirt is grey.
