Stickybeard the Pirate[3] is a NPC in Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall. He is a human and the captain of the Sweet Revenge, a classic sailing vessel of the Spanish galleon variety, as well as the leader of the Candy Pirates, a group of people who hoard candy of both the terrestrial and extraterrestrial variety.[3][4]
During the Fusion Invasion, Stickybeard hopes that the invasion will serve as the perfect distraction for the world's heroes, enabling him to finally satisfy his sweet tooth.[3] Since his ship got infected with Fusion Matter though, he has been behaving himself.[4]
Physical appearance
Stickybeard is an overweight, light-skinned human with a thick brown beard that has lollipops stuck on it. He has as well a candy cane in the place of his left hand and another one for his left leg. For attire, he wears a stereotypical black prate hat with the symbol of a skull licking its lips on it, a green visor, an eyepatch, a dark green overcoat with a black belt, dark green pants, black gloves, and a black right boot. He also has a couple of chocolate bars hanging from his belt.
History
Cartoon Network Universe. FusionFall
Before the Invasion
Accordingly, Stickybeard once stole Captain K'nuckles' hat.[5]
Fusion Invasion
The Future
In the Future, Stickybeard lost his ship, the Sweet Revenge, to Planet Fusion's infection.[6] As such, he would leave to requisition himself a new ship and crew.[1] However, several weeks would pass without anyone seeing any sign of him.[1][2] Eventually, the Candy Pirates in Candy Cove had little hope of Stickybeard making his return.[7]
The Past
Stickybeard
In the Past, when the invasion of Earth began, Stickybeard lost his ship, the Sweet Revenge, to Planet Fusion.
In Candy Cove, Stickybeard out gives Missions concerning traitors within his crew and finding his candy treasure. He tells the player and Edd the story behind the crazy brain candy. He also thwarts Brittle Butter's plan to sell Stickybeard's candy to Father by replacing the detail note with a note from himself. A Candy Pirate at Bravo Beach mentions that Stickybeard once stole Captain K'nuckles hat.
When the Eds later stole his treasured jawbreakers, he threatens to go to war with. Wilt informs the player of the Eds scheme and the player returns the jawbreakers to Stickybeard.
The player would later bring some barnacle balls they got from Foster's to Stickybeard. He informs the player about Fusion Monsters stealing his candy and bringing them to the Sweet Revenge. The player defeats some monsters while Stickybeard prepares an assault on the Sweet Revenge. The player heads into the ship to defeat Fusion Numbuh Two. They find that the Fusion poisoned some Candy Pirates, but the player is able to give them an antidote. After the pirates are cured, the player goes deeper into the lair and they defeat Fusion Numbuh Two.

Origin
Stickybeard, from Codename: Kids Next Door.
Stickybeard originates from the 2002 American animated television series Codename: Kids Next Door. In that media, he is one of the main antagonists of the show. The leader of his own crew of Candy Pirates and the captain of the Sweet Revenge, a massive land fairing galleon, Stickybeard and his men roam the suburbs and hoard candy, especially from children. Like many other major foes of the Kids Next Door, Stickybeard hates children, but he shares a mutual respect for his candy-hunting rival, Numbuh Five. He also loves candy despite having a mouth full of cavities.
The descendant of the infamous Candy Pirate Long John Silverfilling, Stickybeard would follow in the footsteps of grandfather. As the teenager "Stickyfuzz", Stickybeard served as the cabin boy of Black John Licorice onboard the Root Canal. He eventually sat out on his own though and founded his own Candy Pirate crew. Along the way, he had Heinrich Von Marzipan serve as his cabin boy, whom he shared some notable adventures with until they parted ways. Since then, Stickybeard has been plaguing the KND and children alike on his hunt for sweets, during which he developed a mutual respect for Numbuh Five, whom he would cross paths with multiple times.
