The Firepits is an area in Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall. It is a location in the Darklands and a former molten tourist attraction with pools of scalding hot lava.[1]
Environment
The Firepits are a burning wildness. It lies north of the Fireswamps and east of Huntor's Crest.
The Firepits are the most infected of the fiery infernos of the Darklands, with the center section of this area having become an Infected Zone called Inferno Fields. Planet Fusion's infection inside this Infected Zone has in particular created "spore pods" around the southwest end of the Inferno Fields and a gigantic one in the center.
Located in the Firepits is a rare flower called the "Flaming Rose".[2]
History

Before FusionFall
Long ago, at Flaming Rose from the Firepits was used by the explorer A. Kwest and a woman from the Darklands to represent their love.[2]

The Past
In the Past, Fusion Ed was put in charge of Lord Fuse's local research on dinosaurs in the Firepits. Also turning up here was Fusion Courage, who proved to be up to no good.
