– Quick Start Game Guide, Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall Victory Pack[1]
The Lizard King is an enemy that appears in Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall. It is a species of Fusion Monsters that is used in Fuse's Army.
Physical appearance
A Lizard King, from the Quick Start Game Guide.
The Lizard King is a large, lizard-based Fusion Monster. Its entire body is made up of red rocks and pebble held together by Fusion Matter. It also has two featureless red eyes, three-toed feet with beige claws, a pair of stubby, but pointy, horns on its head, a brown and dark blue collar of sort around its neck, and sharp teeth. Lastly, it has a skeletal-like beige cord running down its spine and tail, with spikes on top of it and binds around its belly and tail.
Gameplay
In gameplay, the Lizard Kings are enemy monsters that the player fights at various points in the game, either optionally, or as a part of a mission objective. To target a Lizard King, align the Avatar with it to make its information window appear on the top of the screen. Should its Health Bar reach zero when battling it, the Fusion Matter animating the Lizard King will break up, and the Lizard King will disintegrate.[2] The player will then automatically receive some Fusion Matter and Taros as reward. However, while the Lizard King's Taro reward remains consistent, its Fusion Matter reward will decrease for each level the Avatar is above the Lizard King; if the Avatar is six levels higher than the Lizard King or higher, no Fusion Matter is rewarded. Sometimes, the player also automatically receives loot from defeated Lizard Kings in the form of C.R.A.T.E.s, Nano Potions, and Weapon Boosts.
In battle, the Lizard Kings target the Avatar when they get close enough. However, the higher the Avatar's level is, the closer they can get to a Lizard King without it attacking them. Once they begin fighting, the Lizard Kings will continue attacking until either they are destroyed, the Avatar is defeated, or the Avatar moves too far away from their point of origin. If the Avatar runs away from them, the Lizard Kings will follow them until they get too far away from their area of roaming, at which point they will return, where they will regain their full health instantly. Notably, while retreating, they will be invulnerable to attacks. Also, once defeated, a Lizard King will respawn after one hundred and fifty seconds.

The Past

In the Past, the Lizard Kings would fight the soldiers opposing the Fusion Invasion, having staked out their own territory in the Firepits.[1]
Behavior
Like other Fusion Monsters, the Lizard Kings are aggressive, hostile, and spit out Fusion Matter wherever they go. They also not only love a good fight, but they also showcase a strong sense of teamwork by backing each other up without hesitation.[1]
Powers and abilities
Skills the Lizard Kings have exhibited include:
- Fusion Matter Explosion: The Lizard Kings possess the Eruption Attack, which lets them create a localized explosion of Fusion Matter from the ground. When launching this attack, the Lizard Kings make the ground below their opponent glow with Fusion Matter for a few seconds before causing a pillar of Fusion Matter to erupt.
- Nano Drain: The Lizard Kings possess the Corruption Attack, which lets them drain Nanos of their stamina. When they are attacking a Nano, they will start to glow, which is the wind up, before throwing an attack that will trump their opponent's Nano. Should it make contact, the Nano will lose a lot of stamina. Conversely, if their opponent drops their current Nano and brings out one that deflects the attack back at the Lizard Kings, the Nano will get a boost in stamina. Should the Lizard Kings launch their Corruption Attack on an opponent without a Nano out though, the former will take damage.
- Potion Consumption: The Lizard Kings possess the Battery Drain, which lets them launch attacks that can drain the Avatar's supply of Nano Potions and Weapon Boosts by a certain amount.
