The Sickle Simian is an enemy that appears in Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall. It is a species of Fusion Monsters that is used in Fuse's Army.
Physical appearance
A Sickle Simian, from the Quick Start Game Guide.
The Sickle Simian is a simian-based Fusion Monster. It has a thin body with long limbs and tail, brown fur, a large claw in place of each of its hands, and a tall head, along with orange lava-like veins all over it. It also has featureless and menacing red eyes, a green mouth, and a pair of bat-like wings on its back.
Gameplay
In gameplay, the Sickle Simians are enemy monsters that the player fights at various points in the game, either optionally, or as a part of a mission objective. To target a Sickle Simian, align the Avatar with it to make its information window appear on the top of the screen. Should its Health Bar reach zero when battling it, the Fusion Matter animating the Sickle Simian will break up, and the Sickle Simian will disintegrate.[2] The player will then automatically receive some Fusion Matter and Taros as reward. However, while the Sickle Simian's Taro reward remains consistent, its Fusion Matter reward will decrease for each level the Avatar is above the Sickle Simian; if the Avatar is six levels higher than the Sickle Simian or more, no Fusion Matter is rewarded. Sometimes, the player also automatically receives loot from defeated Sickle Simians in the form of C.R.A.T.E.s, Nano Potions, and Weapon Boosts.
In battle, the Sickle Simians target the Avatar when they get close enough. However, the higher the Avatar's level is, the closer they can get to a Sickle Simian without it attacking them. Once they begin fighting, the Sickle Simians will continue attacking until either they are destroyed, the Avatar is defeated, or the Avatar moves too far away from their point of origin. If the Avatar runs away from them, the Sickle Simians will follow them until they get too far away from their area of roaming, at which point they will return, where they will regain their full health instantly. Notably, while retreating, they will be invulnerable to attacks. Also, once defeated, a Sickle Simian will respawn after one hundred and fifty seconds.

In the Past, the Sickle Simians would fight the soldiers opposing the Fusion Invasion.
Behavior
Like other Fusion Monsters, the Sickle Simians are aggressive, hostile, and spit out Fusion Matter wherever they go. Despite their similarities to the Scythe Simians however, the two groups do not get along well, which can result in heated clashes.[3]
Powers and abilities
Skills the Sickle Simians have exhibited include:
- Claws: The Sickle Simians possess razor sharp claws that are useful for both climbing vertical surfaces and combat.[1]
- Flight: The Sickle Simians are capable of flight thanks to their wings.
- Fusion Matter Explosion: The Sickle Simians possess the Eruption Attack, which lets them create a localized explosion of Fusion Matter from the ground. When launching this attack, the Sickle Simians make the ground below their opponent glow with Fusion Matter for a few seconds before causing a pillar of Fusion Matter to erupt.
- Nano Drain: The Sickle Simians possess the Corruption Attack, which lets them drain Nanos of their stamina. When they are attacking a Nano, they will start to glow, which is the wind up, before throwing an attack that will trump their opponent's Nano. Should it make contact, the Nano will lose a lot of stamina. Conversely, if their opponent drops their current Nano and brings out one that deflects the attack back at the Sickle Simians, the Nano will get a boost in stamina. Should the Sickle Simians launch their Corruption Attack on an opponent without a Nano out though, the former will take damage.
- Potion Consumption: The Sickle Simians possess the Battery Drain, which lets them launch attacks that can drain the Avatar's supply of Nano Potions and Weapon Boosts by a certain amount.
