– Quick Start Game Guide, Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall Victory Pack[1]
The Crash Loader is an enemy that appears in Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall. It is a species of Fusion Monsters that is used in Fuse's Army.
Physical appearance
A Crash Loader, from the Quick Start Game Guide.
The Crash Loader is a robotic Fusion Monster. It has a dark blue metal torso with facial-like features on the front that include two red headlights, including a smaller green headlight underneath each of them, a crack across said torso filled with Fusion Matter that resembles a mouth, and vertical Fusion Matter-infused lines on the forehead, as well as similar horizontal lines across the jaw. It also has two arms made of gray metal pipes with three-fingered yellow metal claws for hands. It also has an orange lower body with legs made of excavator arms, with dark blue excavator buckets for feet. Lastly, Fusion Matter leaks from all over its body.
Gameplay
In gameplay, the Crash Loaders are enemy monsters that the player can fight at various points in the game, either optionally, or as a part of a mission objective. To target a Crash Loader, align the Avatar with it to make its information window appear on the top of the screen. Should its Health Bar reach zero when battling it, the Fusion Matter animating the Crash Loader will break up, and the Crash Loader will disintegrate.[2] The player will then automatically receive some Fusion Matter and Taros as reward. However, while the Crash Loader's Taro reward remains consistent, its Fusion Matter reward will decrease for each level the Avatar is above the Crash Loader; if the Avatar is six levels higher than the Crash Loader or more, no Fusion Matter is rewarded. Sometimes, the player also automatically receives loot from defeated Crash Loaders in the form of C.R.A.T.E.s, Nano Potions, and Weapon Boosts.
In battle, the Crash Loaders target the Avatar when they get close enough. However, the higher the Avatar's level is, the closer they can get to a Crash Loader without it attacking them. Once they begin fighting, the Crash Loaders will continue attacking until either they are destroyed, the Avatar is defeated, or the Avatar moves too far away from their point of origin. If the Avatar runs away from them, the Crash Loaders will follow them until they get too far away from their area of roaming, at which point they will return, where they will regain their full health instantly. Notably, while retreating, they will be invulnerable to attacks. Also, once defeated, a Crash Loader will respawn after seventy seconds.
