– Quick Start Game Guide, Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall Victory Pack[1]
The Boarbill is an enemy that appears in Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall. It is a species of Fusion Monsters that is used in Fuse's Army.
Physical appearance
A Boarbill, from the Quick Start Game Guide.
The Boarbill is a Fusion Monster that resembles a cross between a boar and a Ceratopsian dinosaur. It possesses a large head made of brown dirt with a yellow and hooked bill, large fangs, two menacing and featureless red eyes, and a head covering made of brown bark with wrangled branches on it, giving it the appearance of a frill. In addition, it possesses four crocked horns on its forehead. Its upper torso is made of dirt and withered leaves as well while its rear is covered in several green crystals. Its four legs are made of brown dirt and rocks too, with cloven hooves on each of them, and it possesses two tails made of brown branches. Lastly, it has patches of Fusion Matter leaking from all over its body.
Gameplay
In gameplay, the Boarbills are enemy monsters that the player fights at various points in the game, either optionally, or as a part of a mission objective. To target a Boarbill, align the Avatar with it to make its information window appear on the top of the screen. Should its Health Bar reach zero when battling it, the Fusion Matter animating the Boarbill will break up, and the Boarbill will disintegrate.[2] The player will then automatically receive some Fusion Matter and Taros as reward. However, while the Boarbill's Taro reward remains consistent, its Fusion Matter reward will decrease for each level the Avatar is above the Boarbill; if the Avatar is six levels higher than the Boarbill or more, no Fusion Matter is rewarded. Sometimes, the player also automatically receives loot from defeated Boarbills in the form of C.R.A.T.E.s, Nano Potions, and Weapon Boosts.
In battle, the Boarbills target the Avatar when they get close enough. However, the higher the Avatar's level is, the closer they can get to a Boarbill without it attacking them. Once they begin fighting, the Boarbills will continue attacking until either they are destroyed, the Avatar is defeated, or the Avatar moves too far away from their point of origin. If the Avatar runs away from them, the Boarbills will follow them until they get too far away from their area of roaming, at which point they will return, where they will regain their full health instantly. Notably, while retreating, they will be invulnerable to attacks. Also, once defeated, a Boarbill will respawn after one hundred and fifty seconds.

In the Past, the Boarbills would fight the soldiers opposing the Fusion Invasion.
Behavior
Like other Fusion Monsters, the Boarbills are aggressive, hostile, and spit out Fusion Matter wherever they go. They are known for charging from great distances and slamming into their prey to knock it unconscious. After that, they use their hooked bill to feed in a pretty gruesome way.[1]
Powers and abilities
Skills the Boarbills have exhibited include:
- Fusion Matter Explosion: Most Boarbills possess the Eruption Attack, which lets them create a localized explosion of Fusion Matter from the ground. When launching this attack, the Boarbills make the ground below their opponent glow with Fusion Matter for a few seconds before causing a pillar of Fusion Matter to erupt.
- Nano Drain: Most Boarbills possess the Corruption Attack, which lets them drain Nanos of their stamina. When they are attacking a Nano, they will start to glow, which is the wind up, before throwing an attack that will trump their opponent's Nano. Should it make contact, the Nano will lose a lot of stamina. Conversely, if their opponent drops their current Nano and brings out one that deflects the attack back at the Boarbills, the Nano will get a boost in stamina. Should the Boarbills launch their Corruption Attack on an opponent without a Nano out though, the former will take damage.
- Stun Inducement: Most Boarbills possess the Stun - Cone power, which can immobilize their opponents completely for a few moments.
