The Scrap Scrapper is an enemy that appears in Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall. It is a species of Fusion Monsters that is used in Fuse's Army.
Physical appearance
A Scrap Scrapper, from the Quick Start Game Guide.
The Scrap Scrapper is a vaguely humanoid and robotic Fusion Monster. Made of a little bit of everything from scrap and rubble,[1] it possesses a torso made of various metallic component, including a rotating fan on its left side, with a rectangular television on the chest, the former featuring a cracked screen with a pair of menacing red eyes against a Fusion Matter-covered background and a pair of antennae. It also has a pair of arms; the right one being made up of an oversized yellow excavator arm with a dark blue bucket and the left one consisting of a brown upper arm with a blue cockpit cover with a windshield for a shoulder cover, a forearm made of blue and dark gray metal blocks, and the rear section of a blue motorcycle with a black tire and gray exhaust pipes for a hand. Its pelvis is made of similar random components, with dark blue and red pieces being held together and a power cord hanging from the front. It also has a of legs with knees bending backwards, tights made of mechanical black parts, dark blue lower legs, and wide dark gray feet made from the mouths of vacuum machines. Lastly, it has patches of Fusion Matter all over its body.
Gameplay
In gameplay, the Scrap Scrappers are enemy monsters that the player fights at various points in the game, either optionally, or as a part of a mission objective. To target a Scrap Scrapper, align the Avatar with it to make its information window appear on the top of the screen. Should its Health Bar reach zero when battling it, the Fusion Matter animating the Scrap Scrapper will break up, and the Scrap Scrapper will disintegrate.[2] The player will then automatically receive some Fusion Matter and Taros as reward. However, while the Scrap Scrapper's Taro reward remains consistent, its Fusion Matter reward will decrease for each level the Avatar is above the Scrap Scrapper; if the Avatar is six levels higher than the Scrap Scrapper or higher, no Fusion Matter is rewarded. Sometimes, the player also automatically receives loot from defeated Scrap Scrappers in the form of C.R.A.T.E.s, Nano Potions, and Weapon Boosts.
In battle, the Scrap Scrappers target the Avatar when they get close enough. However, the higher the Avatar's level is, the closer they can get to a Scrap Scrapper without it attacking them. Once they begin fighting, the Scrap Scrappers will continue attacking until either they are destroyed, the Avatar is defeated, or the Avatar moves too far away from their point of origin. If the Avatar runs away from them, the Scrap Scrappers will follow them until they get too far away from their area of roaming, at which point they will return, where they will regain their full health instantly. Notably, while retreating, they will be invulnerable to attacks. Also, once defeated, a Scrap Scrapper will respawn after seventy seconds.
