– Quick Start Game Guide, Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall Victory Pack[1]
The Candy Bandit is an enemy that appears in Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall. It is a species of Fusion Monsters that is used in Fuse's Army.
Physical appearance
A Candy Bandit, from the Quick Start Game Guide.
The Candy Bandit is a pirate-based Fusion Monster. It has a spherical orange and gray-striped torso with a white frosting-like cover stained with Fusion Matter on top of it, and a round white head with two menacing red eyes and a white and red-striped bandana around it. It also possesses two arms with a gray upper arm each that has a red strap with a gold buckle around them, as well as cone-like gray gauntlets with yellow outlines. Curiously, none of its arm joints are connected. However, whereas its left hand is a round blob of Fusion Matter for a hand holding a very large multicolored lollipop with a red and white-stribed handle, its right hand is a round mace with spikes, albeit also composed of Fusion Matter. Lastly, its entire upper body floats above an orange ball, balancing precariously on it.
Gameplay
In gameplay, the Candy Bandits are enemy monsters that the player fights at various points in the game. To target a Candy Bandit, align the Avatar with it to make its information window appear on the top of the screen. Should its Health Bar reach zero when battling it, the Fusion Matter animating the Candy Bandit will break up, and the Candy Bandit will disintegrate.[2] The player will then automatically receive some Fusion Matter and Taros as reward. However, while the Candy Bandit's Taro reward remains consistent, its Fusion Matter reward will decrease for each level the Avatar is above the Candy Bandit; if the Avatar is six levels higher than the Candy Bandit or more, no Fusion Matter is rewarded. Sometimes, the player also automatically receives loot from defeated Candy Bandits in the form of C.R.A.T.E.s.
In battle, the Candy Bandits target the Avatar when they get close enough. However, the higher the Avatar's level is, the closer they can get to a Candy Bandit without it attacking them. Once they begin fighting, the Candy Bandits will continue attacking until either they are destroyed, the Avatar is defeated, or the Avatar moves too far away from their point of origin. If the Avatar runs away from them, the Candy Bandits will follow them until they get too far away from their area of roaming, at which point they will return, where they will regain their full health instantly. Notably, while retreating, they will be invulnerable to attacks. Also, once defeated, a Candy Bandit will respawn after thirty seconds.
