– Quick Start Game Guide, Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall Victory Pack[1]
The Slizzard is an enemy that appears in Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall. It is a species of Fusion Monsters that is used in Fuse's Army.
Physical appearance
A Slizzard, from the Quick Start Game Guide.
The Slizzard is a Fusion Monster resembling a cross between a lizard and a fish. Possessing an almost humanoid body, it has bluish black scales covering most of it and a grayish beige underbelly, along with cracks in its skin that expose the Fusion Matter underneath its skin. It also has a fish-like head with no neck, two featureless red eyes and a mouth full of sharp teeth. Notably, on its jaw it has several brown-tipped and beige tendrils that, combined with its enormous jaw muscles and an extra set of red eyes, form the shape of a human expression. On its back, it also has a forward-turned, large and spiky dorsal fin with red-beige webbing in-between them. It possesses a similar pair of arms as well, complete with hands resembling fins with red-beige webbing between the fingers. Lastly, it has a pair of legs with webbing between them that extend down to the feet, each of which possess three toes with claws on them.
Gameplay
In gameplay, the Slizzards are enemy monsters that the player fights at various points in the game, either optionally, or as a part of a mission objective. To target a Slizzard, align the Avatar with it to make its information window appear on the top of the screen. Should its Health Bar reach zero when battling it, the Fusion Matter animating the Slizzard will break up, and the Slizzard will disintegrate.[2] The player will then automatically receive some Fusion Matter and Taros as reward. However, while the Slizzard's Taro reward remains consistent, its Fusion Matter reward will decrease for each level the Avatar is above the Slizzard; if the Avatar is six levels higher than the Slizzard or more, no Fusion Matter is rewarded. Sometimes, the player also automatically receives loot from defeated Slizzards in the form of C.R.A.T.E.s, Nano Potions, and Weapon Boosts.
In battle, the Slizzards target the Avatar when they get close enough. However, the higher the Avatar's level is, the closer they can get to a Slizzard without it attacking them. Once they begin fighting, the Slizzards will continue attacking until either they are destroyed, the Avatar is defeated, or the Avatar moves too far away from their point of origin. If the Avatar runs away from them, the Slizzards will follow them until they get too far away from their area of roaming, at which point they will return, where they will regain their full health instantly. Notably, while retreating, they will be invulnerable to attacks. Also, once defeated, a Slizzard will respawn after one hundred and fifty seconds.

In the Past, the Slizzards would fight the soldiers opposing the Fusion Invasion.
Behavior
Like other Fusion Monsters, the Slizzards are aggressive, hostile, and spit out Fusion Matter wherever they go.
Powers and abilities
Skills the Slizzards have exhibited include:
- Fusion Matter Explosion: The Slizzards possess the Eruption Attack, which lets them create a localized explosion of Fusion Matter from the ground. When launching this attack, the Slizzards make the ground below their opponent glow with Fusion Matter for a few seconds before causing a pillar of Fusion Matter to erupt.
- Nano Drain: The Slizzards possess the Corruption Attack, which lets them drain Nanos of their stamina. When they are attacking a Nano, they will start to glow, which is the wind up, before throwing an attack that will trump their opponent's Nano. Should it make contact, the Nano will lose a lot of stamina. Conversely, if their opponent drops their current Nano and brings out one that deflects the attack back at the Slizzards, the Nano will get a boost in stamina. Should the Slizzards launch their Corruption Attack on an opponent without a Nano out though, the former will take damage.
- Potion Consumption: The Slizzards possess the Battery Drain, which lets them launch attacks that can drain the Avatar's supply of Nano Potions and Weapon Boosts by a certain amount.
