A Frilled Fiend using the Battery Drain on the Avatar, from OpenFusion.
| “ | Be careful with your Nano Potions. Some Spawns have the power to drain the Potions you carry. You can avoid this by having a Guard Nano active. | ” |
The Battery Drain[2] is a game mechanic that appears in Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall. It is an attack that certain monsters can use that drains the Avatar of Nano Potions and Weapon Boosts.[1][3]
Gameplay

In gameplay, the Battery Drain is a special attack that specific Fusion Monsters and miscellaneous enemies can pull off in battle. Monsters with this ability has an orange and round icon with black images of the Nano Potion and Weapon Boost icons in it on the right side of their information window on the HUD.
When a monster uses Battery Drain on the Avatar, the attack will randomly drain them of around twelve to approximately thirty Nano Potions and Weapon Boosts in their inventory, all while dealing damage to the Avatar based on the amount of Potions and Boosts drained. This effect is visually displayed in gameplay by a green ripple emerging from the Avatar and Nano Potion and Weapon Boost icons flying off them.
To shield the Avatar from the Battery Drain, the player must have a Nano out with the Guard Nano Power active when the Battery Drain is launched.[1][3]
