The Meteoric Sentry Number One is an enemy that appears in Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall. It is a species of Fusion Monsters that is used in Fuse's Army, and the boss version of the Meteoric Sentries.

Physical appearance

Essentially a larger version of the Meteoric Sentry, the Meteoric Sentry Number One is an almost marine and bug-like Fusion Monster. Its main body is made of a brown, almost wood-like substance and shaped like a foot, with a pair of horizontal fins and a vertical, almost hook-like fin in front of them where the ankle would be. Behind the aforementioned hook-like fin is also a smaller, but wider fin with a blue gem embedded in the top. Embedded in the front, right below the aforementioned fins, is also a spiked and moving yellow ball. Further down, extending from its sides are also two long and light blue flippers with bright veins. In front of them on each side are also two organic-looking red barrels with long and thin flippers similar to the first ones coming out of them. It also has a low-set and pointy head on the front of its main body with visible red muscle veins on its neck, a light blue forehead, two featureless red eyes, and what appears to be a tongue sticking out of it. Lastly, it has patches of Fusion Matter all over its main body, with an orb of the substances on its back in particular, with two thin cords extending from said orb and connecting to its main body.

Gameplay

In gameplay, the Meteoric Sentry Number Ones are enemy monsters that the player fights at various points in the game, either optionally, or as a part of a mission objective. To target a Meteoric Sentry Number One, align the Avatar with it to make its information window appear on the top of the screen. Should its Health Bar reach zero when battling it, the Fusion Matter animating the Meteoric Sentry Number One will break up, and the Meteoric Sentry Number One will disintegrate.[1] The player will then automatically receive some Fusion Matter and Taros as reward. However, while the Meteoric Sentry Number One's Taro reward remains consistent, its Fusion Matter reward will decrease for each level the Avatar is above the Meteoric Sentry Number One. Sometimes, the player also automatically receives loot from defeated Meteoric Sentry Number Ones in the form of C.R.A.T.E.s, Nano Potions, and Weapon Boosts.

In battle, the Meteoric Sentry Number Ones target the Avatar when they get close enough. However, the higher the Avatar's level is, the closer they can get to a Meteoric Sentry Number One without it attacking them. Once they begin fighting, the Meteoric Sentry Number Ones will continue attacking until either they are destroyed, the Avatar is defeated, or the Avatar moves too far away from their point of origin. If the Avatar runs away from them, the Meteoric Sentry Number Ones will follow them until they get too far away from their area of roaming, at which point they will return, where they will regain their full health instantly. Notably, while retreating, they will be invulnerable to attacks. Also, once defeated, a Meteoric Sentry Number One will respawn after one hundred and fifty seconds.
