– Quick Start Game Guide, Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall Victory Pack[1]
The Necromasher is an enemy that appears in Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall. It is a species of Fusion Monsters that is used in Fuse's Army.
Physical appearance
A Necromasher, from the Quick Start Game Guide.
The Necromasher is a flora-based Fusion Monster. Formed from rotting plants,[1] it has a small, round, and brown face with a serrated mouth and two featureless red eyes. On its head, it wears a tall, cylinder-shaped hat made of red, brown and green plants and drenched in Fusion Matter. Its body from the neck down consists of brown and green intertwined vines covered in Fusion Matter. Notably, it possesses two arms with three-fingered hands and four wily tentacles below its waist for legs. It also wears a cloak made of green leaves, a collar made of orange and red leaves, and two large and red leaves that sprout from the front of its neck, all of which are drenched in Fusion Matter. Lastly, it carries a wooden club in its left hand.
Gameplay
In gameplay, the Necromashers are enemy monsters that the player fights at various points in the game, either optionally, or as a part of a mission objective. To target a Necromasher, align the Avatar with it to make its information window appear on the top of the screen. Should its Health Bar reach zero when battling it, the Fusion Matter animating the Necromasher will break up, and the Necromasher will disintegrate.[2] The player will then automatically receive some Fusion Matter and Taros as reward. However, while the Necromasher's Taro reward remains consistent, its Fusion Matter reward will decrease for each level the Avatar is above the Necromasher; if the Avatar is six levels higher than the Necromasher or more, no Fusion Matter is rewarded. Sometimes, the player also automatically receives loot from defeated Necromashers in the form of C.R.A.T.E.s, Nano Potions, and Weapon Boosts.
In battle, the Necromashers target the Avatar when they get close enough. However, the higher the Avatar's level is, the closer they can get to a Necromasher without it attacking them. Once they begin fighting, the Necromashers will continue attacking until either they are destroyed, the Avatar is defeated, or the Avatar moves too far away from their point of origin. If the Avatar runs away from them, the Necromashers will follow them until they get too far away from their area of roaming, at which point they will return, where they will regain their full health instantly. Notably, while retreating, they will be invulnerable to attacks. Also, once defeated, a Necromasher will respawn after one hundred and fifty seconds.

Behavior
Like other Fusion Monsters, the Necromashers are aggressive, hostile, and spit out Fusion Matter wherever they go. Fittingly, they are attracted to the aura of death surrounding the Ruins.[1]
Powers and abilities
Skills the Necromashers have exhibited include:
- Decaying Inducement: The Necromashers are able to spread decay wherever they go.[1]
- Fusion Matter Explosion: The Necromashers possess the Eruption Attack, which lets them create a localized explosion of Fusion Matter from the ground. When launching this attack, the Necromashers make the ground below their opponent glow with Fusion Matter for a few seconds before causing a pillar of Fusion Matter to erupt.
- Nano Drain: The Necromashers possess the Corruption Attack, which lets them drain Nanos of their stamina. When they are attacking a Nano, they will start to glow, which is the wind up, before throwing an attack that will trump their opponent's Nano. Should it make contact, the Nano will lose a lot of stamina. Conversely, if their opponent drops their current Nano and brings out one that deflects the attack back at the Necromashers, the Nano will get a boost in stamina. Should the Necromashers launch their Corruption Attack on an opponent without a Nano out though, the former will take damage.
- Potion Consumption: The Necromashers possess the Battery Drain, which lets them launch attacks that can drain the Avatar's supply of Nano Potions and Weapon Boosts by a certain amount.
