The Beach Bully is an enemy that appears in Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall. It is a species of Fusion Monsters that is used in Fuse's Army.
Physical appearance
A Beach Bully, from the Quick Start Game Guide.
The Beach Bully is a robot-looking Fusion Monster made up of pieces of boats and beach gear. Possessing a humanoid form, it has a box-shaped blue chest with a gray metal piece covering its lower left front corner, as well as a red hexagon-shaped tube for a head with a golden and black turbine tube for an eye. Its right shoulder is a red, blue and yellow waterbike, and its right arm consists of a gray upper pipe, a flexible blue tube for an elbow, a wrangled piece of red metal for a wrist, and a thin gray hand with four digits. Its left shoulder on the other hand is made up of the rear chassis of a gray and blue car with red thrusters on it, and its left arm consists of gray joints with two thin blue bars as the upper arm, a blocky yellow forearm, and a large blue hand with four digits. Its pelvis is the front of a blue motorcycle with a black tire, and its hips are rectangular speakers. It also has two blue and gray bars extending from its back. As for its legs, they have thick metal pipes for tights, flexible red tubes for knees, two gray bars each for lower legs, light blue plating for ankel covers, and two-toed gray feet with blue joints. Lastly, its armor is cracking everywhere and Fusion Matter is leaking all over its body.
Gameplay
In gameplay, the Beach Bullies are enemy monsters that the player can fight at various points in the game. To target a Beach Bully, align the Avatar with it to make its information window appear on the top of the screen. Should its Health Bar reach zero when battling it, the Fusion Matter animating the Beach Bully will break up, and the Beach Bully will disintegrate.[2] The player will then automatically receive some Fusion Matter and Taros as reward. However, while the Beach Bully's Taro reward remains consistent, its Fusion Matter reward will decrease for each level the Avatar is above the Beach Bully; if the Avatar is six levels higher than the Beach Bully or more, no Fusion Matter is rewarded. Sometimes, the player also automatically receives loot from defeated Beach Bullies in the form of C.R.A.T.E.s, Weapon Boosts, and Nano Potions.
In battle, the Beach Bullies target the Avatar when they get close enough. However, the higher the Avatar's level is, the closer they can get to a Beach Bully without it attacking them. Once they begin fighting, the Beach Bullies will continue attacking until either they are destroyed, the Avatar is defeated, or the Avatar moves too far away from their point of origin. If the Avatar runs away from them, the Beach Bullies will follow them until they get too far away from their area of roaming, at which point they will return, where they will regain their full health instantly. Notably, while retreating, they will be invulnerable to attacks. Also, once defeated, a Beach Bully will respawn after one hundred seconds.
History
Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall
Fusion Invasion
The Past
In the Past, the Beach Bullies would fight the soldiers opposing the Fusion Invasion.
Behavior
Like other Fusion Monsters, the Beach Bullies are aggressive, hostile, and spit out Fusion Matter wherever they go. Described as bullies, they also do not like to share their territories.[1]
Powers and abilities
Skills the Beach Bullies have exhibited include:
- Nano Drain: The Beach Bullies possess the Corruption Attack, which lets them drain Nanos of their stamina. When they are attacking a Nano, they will start to glow, which is the wind up, before throwing an attack that will trump their opponent's Nano. Should it make contact, the Nano will lose a lot of stamina. Conversely, if their opponent drops their current Nano and brings out one that deflects the attack back at the Beach Bullies, the Nano will get a boost in stamina. Should the Beach Bullies launch their Corruption Attack on an opponent without a Nano out though, the former will take damage.
- Stun Inducement: The Beach Bullies possess the Stun - Cone power, which can immobilize their opponents completely for a few moments.
