– Quick Start Game Guide, Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall Victory Pack[1]
The Heavy Hunter is an enemy that appears in Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall. It is a species of Fusion Monsters that is used in Fuse's Army.
Physical appearance
A Heavy Hunter, from the Quick Start Game Guide.
The Heavy Hunter is a robot-based Fusion Monster. Made from car parts and heavy by comparison,[1] it is presented as a bipedal walker. It possesses the main chassis of a black wheeled vehicle with long gray exhaust pipes running down the sides of the chassis and a vertical windshield attached on the front, which has horizontal red stribes on the side and a Fusion Matter-infused headlight. Below the rear on each side of the chassis is also a wheel cover, with an inverted robotic leg attached to the joints inside the wheel cover. Each of its legs has thick black armor covering its lower leg and two-toed metallic feet as well. On the middle of the chassis are also two cables that serve as arms; the left arm's hand is a beige metal pipe joint, and the right arm's hand is a red fire hydrant with a chain on it. Lastly, it has Fusion Matter patches and lines all over its body.
Gameplay
In gameplay, the Heavy Hunters are enemy monsters that the player fights at various points in the game, either optionally, or as a part of a mission objective. To target a Heavy Hunter, align the Avatar with it to make its information window appear on the top of the screen. Should its Health Bar reach zero when battling it, the Fusion Matter animating the Heavy Hunter will break up, and the Heavy Hunter will disintegrate.[2] The player will then automatically receive some Fusion Matter and Taros as reward. However, while the Heavy Hunter's Taro reward remains consistent, its Fusion Matter reward will decrease for each level the Avatar is above the Heavy Hunter; if the Avatar is six levels higher than the Heavy Hunter or higher, no Fusion Matter is rewarded. Sometimes, the player also automatically receives loot from defeated Heavy Hunters in the form of C.R.A.T.E.s, Nano Potions, and Weapon Boosts.
In battle, the Heavy Hunters target the Avatar when they get close enough. However, the higher the Avatar's level is, the closer they can get to a Heavy Hunter without it attacking them. Once they begin fighting, the Heavy Hunters will continue attacking until either they are destroyed, the Avatar is defeated, or the Avatar moves too far away from their point of origin. If the Avatar runs away from them, the Heavy Hunters will follow them until they get too far away from their area of roaming, at which point they will return, where they will regain their full health instantly. Notably, while retreating, they will be invulnerable to attacks. Also, once defeated, a Heavy Hunter will respawn after one hundred seconds.

In the Past, the Heavy Hunters would fight the soldiers opposing the Fusion Invasion.
Behavior
Like other Fusion Monsters, the Heavy Hunters are aggressive, hostile, and spit out Fusion Matter wherever they go. Predators by design, a human is nothing more than a snack to them.[1]
Powers and abilities
The Heavy Hunters are strong enough to bringing down even the biggest, heaviest prey.[1] Skills the Heavy Hunters have exhibited include:
- Fusion Matter Explosion: The Heavy Hunters possess the Eruption Attack, which lets them create a localized explosion of Fusion Matter from the ground. When launching this attack, the Heavy Hunters make the ground below their opponent glow with Fusion Matter for a few seconds before causing a pillar of Fusion Matter to erupt.
- Nano Drain: The Heavy Hunters possess the Corruption Attack, which lets them drain Nanos of their stamina. When they are attacking a Nano, they will start to glow, which is the wind up, before throwing an attack that will trump their opponent's Nano. Should it make contact, the Nano will lose a lot of stamina. Conversely, if their opponent drops their current Nano and brings out one that deflects the attack back at the Baleful Brutes, the Nano will get a boost in stamina. Should the Baleful Brutes launch their Corruption Attack on an opponent without a Nano out though, the former will take damage.
