– Quick Start Game Guide, Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall Victory Pack[1]
The Riot Rogue is an enemy that appears in Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall. It is a species of Fusion Monsters that is used in Fuse's Army.
Physical appearance
A Riot Rogue, from the Quick Start Game Guide.
The Riot Rogue is a humanoid Fusion Monster with a stubby appearance. It has a low-set head with dark blue metal shaped like a skull with short, but sharp teeth covering it, two featureless red eyes, a plate of red metal running from its forehead and down its nose area, and a gray cable running vertically down its forehead. Its torso on the other hand is short, yet wide, with gray concrete covering its Fusion Matter-composed base body around its pelvis and chest area. Meanwhile, its back is covered by dark blue metal with red cap on top of said back, with Fusion Matter inside the cap and a thick cable running down its back. It also possesses arms with four-fingered hands, dark blue plating around its upper arms, and gray metal bands wrapped around its forearms and hands. As for its legs, they are rather short with stubs for feet, with gray concrete around its thighs, and gray metal bands around its lower legs and feet. Lastly, on each forearm, it wears a square and cracked concrete shield with various objects protruding from the front, such as pipes, metal bars, buzzsaw blades, and metal shards.
Gameplay
In gameplay, the Riot Rogues are enemy monsters that the player can fight at various points in the game. To target a Riot Rogue, align the Avatar with it to make its information window appear on the top of the screen. Should its Health Bar reach zero when battling it, the Fusion Matter animating the Riot Rogue will break up, and the Riot Rogue will disintegrate.[2] The player will then automatically receive some Fusion Matter and Taros as reward. However, while the Riot Rogue's Taro reward remains consistent, its Fusion Matter reward will decrease for each level the Avatar is above the Riot Rogue; if the Avatar is six levels higher than the Riot Rogue or more, no Fusion Matter is rewarded. Sometimes, the player also automatically receives loot from defeated Riot Rogues in the form of C.R.A.T.E.s, Nano Potions, and Weapon Boosts.
In battle, the Riot Rogues target the Avatar when they get close enough. However, the higher the Avatar's level is, the closer they can get to a Riot Rogue without it attacking them. Once they begin fighting, the Riot Rogues will continue attacking until either they are destroyed, the Avatar is defeated, or the Avatar moves too far away from their point of origin. If the Avatar runs away from them, the Riot Rogues will follow them until they get too far away from their area of roaming, at which point they will return, where they will regain their full health instantly. Notably, while retreating, they will be invulnerable to attacks. Also, once defeated, a Riot Rogue will respawn after one hundred seconds.
History
Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall
Fusion Invasion
The Past
In the Past, the Riot Rogues would fight the soldiers opposing the Fusion Invasion.
Behavior
Like other Fusion Monsters, the Riot Rogues are aggressive, hostile, and spit out Fusion Matter wherever they go.
Powers and abilities
Skills the Riot Rogues have exhibited include:
- Durability: The Riot Rogues are designed to resist damage.[1]
- Fusion Matter Explosion: The Riot Rogues possess the Eruption Attack, which lets them create a localized explosion of Fusion Matter from the ground. When launching this attack, the Riot Rogues make the ground below their opponent glow with Fusion Matter for a few seconds before causing a pillar of Fusion Matter to erupt.
- Nano Drain: The Riot Rogues possess the Corruption Attack, which lets them drain Nanos of their stamina. When they are attacking a Nano, they will start to glow, which is the wind up, before throwing an attack that will trump their opponent's Nano. Should it make contact, the Nano will lose a lot of stamina. Conversely, if their opponent drops their current Nano and brings out one that deflects the attack back at the Riot Rogues, the Nano will get a boost in stamina. Should the Riot Rogues launch their Corruption Attack on an opponent without a Nano out though, the former will take damage.
- Shield Proficiency: The Riot Rogues wield twin riot shields that they can not only utilize for defense, but also as offense with surprising efficiency.[1]
- Stun Inducement: The Riot Rogues possess the Stun - Cone power, which can immobilize their opponents completely for a few moments.
