The Elephantine Enforcer is an enemy that appears in Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall. It is a species of Fusion Monsters that is used in Fuse's Army, and the boss version of the Hydraulic Enforcer.
Physical appearance
Essentially a larger version of the Hydraulic Enforcer, the Elephantine Enforcer is a Fusion Monster made of several random parts. It possesses what resembles an ellipsoid-shape and yellow-brown furnace for a torso that is filled with Fusion Matter, a dark lid on top of its torso with a single red eye right under it, yellow and black hazard stribes around its waist line, a three-bladed propeller aligned horizontally on its pelvis and a drill-like appendage where it would have legs. As for its two arms, it has what appears to be gray rocket thrusters for upper arms with a tailfin on the sides and robotic brown forearms with four-fingered blunt claws for fingers. Its arms in particular are connected to its torso by green cables. Lastly, Fusion Matter leaks from various cracks around its body.
Gameplay
In gameplay, the Elephantine Enforcers are enemy monsters that the player can fight at various points in the game. To target an Elephantine Enforcer, align the Avatar with it to make its information window appear on the top of the screen. Should its Health Bar reach zero when battling it, the Fusion Matter animating the Elephantine Enforcer will break up, and the Elephantine Enforcer will disintegrate.[1] The player will then automatically receive some Fusion Matter and Taros as reward. However, while the Elephantine Enforcer's Taro reward remains consistent, its Fusion Matter reward will decrease for each level the Avatar is above the Elephantine Enforcer; if the Avatar is six levels higher than the Elephantine Enforcer or more, no Fusion Matter is rewarded. Sometimes, the player also automatically receives loot from defeated Elephantine Enforcers in the form of C.R.A.T.E.s, Nano Potions, and Weapon Boosts.
In battle, the Elephantine Enforcers target the Avatar when they get close enough. However, the higher the Avatar's level is, the closer they can get to an Elephantine Enforcer without it attacking them. Once they begin fighting, the Elephantine Enforcers will continue attacking until either they are destroyed, the Avatar is defeated, or the Avatar moves too far away from their point of origin. If the Avatar runs away from them, the Elephantine Enforcers will follow them until they get too far away from their area of roaming, at which point they will return, where they will regain their full health instantly. Notably, while retreating, they will be invulnerable to attacks. Also, once defeated, an Elephantine Enforcer will respawn after one hundred seconds.
History
Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall
Fusion Invasion
The Past
In the Past, the Elephantine Enforcers would fight the soldiers opposing the Fusion Invasion.
Behavior
Like other Fusion Monsters, the Elephantine Enforcers are aggressive, hostile, and spit out Fusion Matter wherever they go.
Powers and abilities
Skills the Elephantine Enforcers have exhibited include:
- Flight: The Elephantine Enforcers are capable of flight thanks to their propellers.
- Fusion Matter Explosion: The Elephantine Enforcers possess the Eruption Attack, which lets them create a localized explosion of Fusion Matter from the ground. When launching this attack, the Elephantine Enforcers make the ground below their opponent glow with Fusion Matter for a few seconds before causing a pillar of Fusion Matter to erupt.
- Nano Drain: The Elephantine Enforcers possess the Corruption Attack, which lets them drain Nanos of their stamina. When they are attacking a Nano, they will start to glow, which is the wind up, before throwing an attack that will trump their opponent's Nano. Should it make contact, the Nano will lose a lot of stamina. Conversely, if their opponent drops their current Nano and brings out one that deflects the attack back at the Elephantine Enforcers, the Nano will get a boost in stamina. Should the Elephantine Enforcers launch their Corruption Attack on an opponent without a Nano out though, the former will take damage.
- Stun Inducement: The Elephantine Enforcers possess the Stun - Cone power, which can immobilize their opponents completely for a few moments.
