– Quick Start Game Guide, Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall Victory Pack[1]
The Doom Boiler is an enemy that appears in Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall. It is a species of Fusion Monsters that is used in Fuse's Army.
Physical appearance
A Doom Boiler, from the Quick Start Game Guide.
The Doom Boiler is a robotic Fusion Monster. It is designed as a quadrupedal creature with a body made from a gray boiler unit with rusty framework around it and a pair of green headlights on the top of its back. Each of its legs also has an upper joint made from a rusty and cracked pipe, a flexible green tube for a lower leg, and a pale gray foot segment with gray radiators for toes. The front of its body consists only of a rust-brown and green trunk with several rusty flaps around the opening and a rusty eyestalk on top of it that possesses a single red eye. Lastly, patches of Fusion Matter can be found all over its body.
Gameplay
In gameplay, the Doom Boilers are enemy monsters that the player fights at various points in the game, either optionally, or as a part of a mission objective. To target a Doom Boiler, align the Avatar with it to make its information window appear on the top of the screen. Should its Health Bar reach zero when battling it, the Fusion Matter animating the Doom Boiler will break up, and the Doom Boiler will disintegrate.[2] The player will then automatically receive some Fusion Matter and Taros as reward. However, while the Doom Boiler's Taro reward remains consistent, its Fusion Matter reward will decrease for each level the Avatar is above the Doom Boiler; if the Avatar is six levels higher than the Doom Boiler or higher, no Fusion Matter is rewarded. Sometimes, the player also automatically receives loot from defeated Doom Boilers in the form of C.R.A.T.E.s, Nano Potions, and Weapon Boosts.
In battle, the Doom Boilers target the Avatar when they get close enough. However, the higher the Avatar's level is, the closer they can get to a Doom Boiler without it attacking them. Once they begin fighting, the Doom Boilers will continue attacking until either they are destroyed, the Avatar is defeated, or the Avatar moves too far away from their point of origin. If the Avatar runs away from them, the Doom Boilers will follow them until they get too far away from their area of roaming, at which point they will return, where they will regain their full health instantly. Notably, while retreating, they will be invulnerable to attacks. Also, once defeated, a Doom Boiler will respawn after seventy seconds.

Fusion Invasion
The Past

In the Past, when Fuse took over the Nuclear Plant, he created the Doom Boilers by corrupting the local boiler units.[1] Those Fusion Monsters would afterwards fight the soldiers opposing the Fusion Invasion.
Behavior
Like other Fusion Monsters, the Doom Boilers are aggressive, hostile, and spit out Fusion Matter wherever they go.
Powers and abilities
Skills the Doom Boilers have exhibited include:
- Energy Projection: The Doom Boilers can fire blasts of green energy.
- Enhanced Body Temperature: The combination of rusted pipes and grills that make up the Doom Boilers cause their body temperature to run so hot that they burn to the touch.[1]
- Fusion Matter Explosion: The Doom Boilers possess the Eruption Attack, which lets them create a localized explosion of Fusion Matter from the ground. When launching this attack, the Doom Boilers make the ground below their opponent glow with Fusion Matter for a few seconds before causing a pillar of Fusion Matter to erupt.
- Nano Drain: The Doom Boilers possess the Corruption Attack, which lets them drain Nanos of their stamina. When they are attacking a Nano, they will start to glow, which is the wind up, before throwing an attack that will trump their opponent's Nano. Should it make contact, the Nano will lose a lot of stamina. Conversely, if their opponent drops their current Nano and brings out one that deflects the attack back at the Doom Boilers, the Nano will get a boost in stamina. Should the Doom Boilers launch their Corruption Attack on an opponent without a Nano out though, the former will take damage.
