– Quick Start Game Guide, Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall Victory Pack[1]
The Tech Queen is an enemy that appears in Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall. It is a species of Fusion Monsters that is used in Fuse's Army.
Physical appearance
A Tech Queen, from the Quick Start Game Guide.
The Tech Queen is a spider-based, robotic Fusion Monster. It is mostly covered in blue armor, with a long head that possesses a pointy snout, a light blue jaw with a sharp chin, two green eyes, blocky attachments on the sides of its head, a light blue component on top of its head, and a brown neck. It also has a relatively small cephalothorax with eight legs attached to it. These legs are covered in blue armor, each with a brown leg joint, and have black claws, with an additional hook on top of them pointing in the opposite direction, as feet. Lastly, they have a large, very blocky and almost triangular abdomen with a middle section that is made up of a blue and blocky rocket thruster and sides that consist of thick flaps with the DexLabs logo on them. Lastly, Fusion Matter leak from all over its body.
Gameplay
In gameplay, the Tech Queens are enemy monsters that the player can fight at various points in the game. To target a Tech Queen, align the Avatar with it to make its information window appear on the top of the screen. Should its Health Bar reach zero when battling it, the Fusion Matter animating the Tech Queen will break up, and the Tech Queen will disintegrate.[2] The player will then automatically receive some Fusion Matter and Taros as reward. However, while the Tech Queen's Taro reward remains consistent, its Fusion Matter reward will decrease for each level the Avatar is above the Tech Queen; if the Avatar is six levels higher than the Tech Queen or more, no Fusion Matter is rewarded. Sometimes, the player also automatically receives loot from defeated Tech Queens in the form of C.R.A.T.E.s.
In battle, the Tech Queens target the Avatar when they get close enough. However, the higher the Avatar's level is, the closer they can get to a Tech Queen without it attacking them. Once they begin fighting, the Tech Queens will continue attacking until either they are destroyed, the Avatar is defeated, or the Avatar moves too far away from their point of origin. If the Avatar runs away from them, the Tech Queens will follow them until they get too far away from their area of roaming, at which point they will return, where they will regain their full health instantly. Notably, while retreating, they will be invulnerable to attacks. Also, once defeated, a Tech Queen will respawn after thirty seconds.
