The Boss Behemoth is an enemy that appears in Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall. It is a species of Fusion Monsters that is used in Fuse's Army, and the boss version of the Mean Behemoths.
Physical appearance
Essentially a larger version of the Ball-Peen Meanie, the Boss Behemoth is a large, quadrupedal Fusion Monster composed of brownish-gray material and Fusion Matter. It has a rather wide upper torso and narrow pelvis by comparison, with Fusion Matter leaking from various cracks and stubs on its underbelly. It also has a flat head made of what appears to be rock, with two glowing red eyes, a wide mouth with short and sharp teeth, outward-pointing rods on its chins, and several gray, cylinder-shaped stubs filled with Fusion Matter in them all over its scalp. It also has eight gray and pointy brown-gray spikes arranged in two rows down its back and four extensive legs in brownish gray that have been repurposed from what appears to be telephone poles, with Fusion Matter-composed joints. Each of its legs have thick stubs for feet, as well as spikes and bolts protruding from them. Notably, its front legs are longer and thicker than its hind legs.
Gameplay
In gameplay, the Boss Behemoths are enemy monsters that the player can fight at various points in the game. To target a Boss Behemoth, align the Avatar with it to make its information window appear on the top of the screen. Should its Health Bar reach zero when battling it, the Fusion Matter animating the Boss Behemoth will break up, and the Boss Behemoth will disintegrate.[1] The player will then automatically receive some Fusion Matter and Taros as reward. However, while the Boss Behemoth's Taro reward remains consistent, its Fusion Matter reward will decrease for each level the Avatar is above the Boss Behemoth; if the Avatar is six levels higher than the Boss Behemoth or more, no Fusion Matter is rewarded. Sometimes, the player also automatically receives loot from defeated Boss Behemoths in the form of C.R.A.T.E.s, Weapon Boosts, and Nano Potions.
In battle, the Boss Behemoths target the Avatar when they get close enough. However, the higher the Avatar's level is, the closer they can get to a Boss Behemoth without it attacking them. Once they begin fighting, the Boss Behemoths will continue attacking until either they are destroyed, the Avatar is defeated, or the Avatar moves too far away from their point of origin. If the Avatar runs away from them, the Boss Behemoths will follow them until they get too far away from their area of roaming, at which point they will return, where they will regain their full health instantly. Notably, while retreating, they will be invulnerable to attacks. Also, once defeated, a Boss Behemoth will respawn after seventy seconds.
