– Quick Start Game Guide, Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall Victory Pack[1]
The Verminator is an enemy that appears in Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall. It is a species of Fusion Monsters that is used in Fuse's Army.
Physical appearance
Being anything but small,[1] the Verminator is a quadrupedal, rodent-based Fusion Monster. It possesses a red-brown metal barrel for a torso with a red lid on its rear and red-brown pumping cords on its underbelly and on its flank. It also has dark beige wheels for hip joints and light orange shovel arms from excavators for hind legs while its forelegs are thin with spring-like upper legs, metallic gray lower legs reminiscent of hooves, and dark gray wheels for shoulders. Up front it also has a gray block with a long artillery cannon with a green barrel in its center. Below it, it has a small gray head right below it with two red eyes, a black lower jaw, sharp orange-white teeth, a green togue, and three screws on its scalp. Lastly, there are various cracks on its body where Fusion Matter is leaking from.
Gameplay
In gameplay, the Verminators are enemy monsters that the player fights at various points in the game, either optionally, or as a part of a mission objective. To target a Verminator, align the Avatar with it to make its information window appear on the top of the screen. Should its Health Bar reach zero when battling it, the Fusion Matter animating the Verminator will break up, and the Verminator will disintegrate.[2] The player will then automatically receive some Fusion Matter and Taros as reward. However, while the Verminator's Taro reward remains consistent, its Fusion Matter reward will decrease for each level the Avatar is above the Verminator; if the Avatar is six levels higher than the Verminator or more, no Fusion Matter is rewarded. Sometimes, the player also automatically receives loot from defeated Verminators in the form of C.R.A.T.E.s.
In battle, the Verminators target the Avatar when they get close enough. However, the higher the Avatar's level is, the closer they can get to a Verminator without it attacking them. Once they begin fighting, the Verminators will continue attacking until either they are destroyed, the Avatar is defeated, or the Avatar moves too far away from their point of origin. If the Avatar runs away from them, the Verminators will follow them until they get too far away from their area of roaming, at which point they will return, where they will regain their full health instantly. Notably, while retreating, they will be invulnerable to attacks. Also, once defeated, a Verminator will respawn after thirty seconds.
