Fusion Coco is an enemy that appears in Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall. She is the Fusion counterpart of Coco.
Physical appearance
Fusion Coco, from Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall.
A Fusion clone of Coco, Fusion Coco is an airplane-bird-palmtree hybrid whose body is made of Fusion Matter. Her body looks like a short green airplane with a dark white underbelly, and her head resembles a palm tree with dark brown bark and leaves composed of Fusion Matter. She also has a long and crocked beak composed of Fusion Matter, a pair of featureless red eyes on her head with black eyelids, and long legs made of Fusion Matter with human-like feet.
Gameplay
In gameplay, Fusion Coco is a boss fought in her different Fusion Lairs during certain missions. To target Fusion Coco, align the Avatar with her to make her information window appear on the top of the screen. Should her Health Bar reach zero when battling her, the Fusion Matter animating Fusion Coco will break up, and Fusion Coco will disintegrate.[1] The player will then automatically receive some Fusion Matter and Taros as reward. However, while Fusion Coco's Taro reward remains consistent, her Fusion Matter reward will decrease for each level the Avatar is above Fusion Coco; if the Avatar is six levels higher than Fusion Coco or more, no Fusion Matter is rewarded. Sometimes, the player also automatically receives loot from defeating Fusion Coco in the form of C.R.A.T.E.s, Nano Potions, and Weapon Boosts.
In battle, Fusion Coco targets the Avatar when they get close enough. However, the higher the Avatar's level is, the closer they can get to Fusion Coco without her attacking them. Once they begin fighting, Fusion Coco will continue attacking until either she is destroyed, the Avatar is defeated, or the Avatar moves too far away from her point of origin. If the Avatar runs away from her, Fusion Coco will follow them until she gets too far away from her area of roaming, at which point she will return, where she will regain her full health instantly. Notably, while retreating, she will be invulnerable to attacks. Also, once defeated, Fusion Coco will respawn after roughly a year.
History
Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall
Fusion Invasion
The Past
In the Past, Fusion Coco was created in the Darklands, specifically in Hero's Hollow.[2]
At one point, Fusion Coco was residing in one of her Fusion Lairs when the Avatar suddenly intruded on it. Cornering Fusion Coco, the Avatar destroyed her during their subsequent battlee, which resulted in the creation of a Coco Nano for the Avatar.[3]
Fusion Coco soon after reappeared, only to inadvertently rebel against Fuse due to being overloaded by Imaginary Energy from the life signature of Coco.[4] To keep Fusion Mojo Jojo from targeting Coco's Eggs in the Twisted Forest with a missile launcher, Fusion Coco led an egg raid on the Twisted Forest eggs with Scythe Simians and Volcano Toads. After claiming thirteen eggs, Fusion Coco and her minions retreated to Monkey Mountain.[5] When the Avatar later came to Monkey Summit, Fusion Coco left behind an egg with a turban on it that she had laid, which the hero could use to enter Fusion Mojo Jojo's Secret Lair and stop the hostile Fusion's missile attacks permanently.[6] Later, Fusion Coco was found by the Avatar in Fusion Mojo Jojo's Secret Lair after they had destroyed Fusion Mojo Jojo. Despite having helped defeating the latter, Fusion Coco was still too dangerous to leave around, so the Avatar destroyed her as well in battle. In the aftermath, they took a feather from her remains for Dexter to analyze.[4]
Personality
Fusion Coco has not demonstrated much in terms of personality. When overloaded by Imaginary Energy though, she can act strangely, prompting her to inadvertently act in the favor of the Earth's resistance forces. Even so, she can still be rather dangerous.[4]
Powers and abilities
Fusion Coco is among Fuse's most powerful minions and is growing stronger each day.[2][7] Skills Fusion Coco has exhibited include:
- Egg Creation: Much like the real Coco, Fusion Coco can lay special eggs with unique content.[6]
- Fusion Matter Explosion: Fusion Coco possesses the Eruption Attack, which lets her create a localized explosion of Fusion Matter from the ground. When launching this attack, Fusion Coco makes the ground below her opponent glow with Fusion Matter for a few seconds before causing a pillar of Fusion Matter to erupt.
- Limited Nano Power Immunity: On occasion, Fusion Coco possesses the Freedom - Self power, which gives her the following Nano Power immunities:
- Nano Drain: Fusion Coco possesses the Corruption Attack, which lets her drain Nanos of their stamina. When she is attacking a Nano, she will start to glow, which is the wind up, before throwing an attack that will trump her opponent's Nano. Should it make contact, the Nano will lose a lot of stamina. Conversely, if her opponent drops their current Nano and brings out one that deflects the attack back at Fusion Coco, the Nano will get a boost in stamina. Should Fusion Coco launch her Corruption Attack on an opponent without a Nano out though, the former will take damage.
- Stun Inducement: On occasion, Fusion Coco possess the Stun - Cone power, which can immobilize her opponents completely for a few moments.
