Fusion Demongo is an enemy that appears in Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall. He is the Fusion counterpart of Demongo.
Physical appearance
Fusion Demongo, from Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall.
A Fusion clone of Demongo, Fusion Demongo is an ugly[1] humanoid creature whose body is made of Fusion Matter. He possesses a somewhat spindly physique, a mostly black body with shoe-like feet, Fusion Matter-composed skulls around his torso, and a narrow head with a fanged mouth, a green maw, menacing and featureless green eyes, and fire-like green hair. For attire, he wears a black cape with a collar and a purple underside.
Gameplay
In gameplay, Fusion Demongo is a boss fought in his different Fusion Lairs during certain missions. To target Fusion Demongo, align the Avatar with him to make his information window appear on the top of the screen. Should his Health Bar reach zero when battling him, the Fusion Matter animating Fusion Demongo will break up, and Fusion Demongo will disintegrate.[2] The player will then automatically receive some Fusion Matter and Taros as reward. However, while Fusion Demongo's Taro reward remains consistent, his Fusion Matter reward will decrease for each level the Avatar is above Fusion Demongo; if the Avatar is six levels higher than Fusion Demongo or more, no Fusion Matter is rewarded. Sometimes, the player also automatically receives loot from defeating Fusion Demongo in the form of C.R.A.T.E.s, Nano Potions, and Weapon Boosts.
In battle, Fusion Demongo targets the Avatar when they get close enough. However, the higher the Avatar's level is, the closer they can get to Fusion Demongo without him attacking them. Once they begin fighting, Fusion Demongo will continue attacking until either he is destroyed, the Avatar is defeated, or the Avatar moves too far away from his point of origin. If the Avatar runs away from him, Fusion Demongo will follow them until he gets too far away from his area of roaming, at which point he will return, where he will regain his full health instantly. Notably, while retreating, he will be invulnerable to attacks. Also, once defeated, Fusion Demongo will respawn after roughly a year.

Fusion Invasion
The Past
In the Past, Fusion Demongo was created in the Darklands, specifically in Hero's Hollow.[3] He himself had Fusion Scotsman work for him and would patrol the Darklands.[4][5]
Fusion Demongo would eventually steal the souls that Demongo had acquired himself, leaving the real Demongo heavily depowered and unable to reclaim his stolen souls. In addition, Fusion Demongo would steal the souls of several of the Earth's superheroes, including Major Glory, which resulted in their disappearance from the world and Dexter's quest to track them down.[5][6][7] One soul that he stole in particular was a transformed shadow fragment of Aku.[8]
Fusion Demongo eventually surfaced in Tech Square, his sights set on Area 51.5 where Fusion Vilgax was trying to revive a great alien being for Fusion Demongo to absorb. Thanks to the Avatar however, Fusion Vilgax was defeated before Fusion Demongo could get that power.[9]
Fuse soon tried feeding Fusion Demongo the powerful energies from items of great power in order to make him stronger. When Samurai Jack tried to confront him in his Fusion Lair, Fusion Demongo almost stole his soul. After Jack barely managed to escape his clutches, he was confronted by the Avatar who destroyed him after a hard battle, which produced a Aku Nano for the Avatar from Fusion Demongo's remains and the tooth from Aku that the Fusion had on him.[10]
Despite his defeat, Fusion Demongo soon returned. While nearby Hero's Hollow however, he got distracted when the Avatar began defeating local Fusion Monsters, allowing the Sacred Vessel used by the Avatar to recapture the souls stolen by Fusion Demongo. By the time they were done, the souls of all the world's heroes and the shadow fragment from Aku had been taken back, leaving Fusion Demongo severely weakened.[11][8]
Fusion Demongo later reappeared inside Fuse's Labyrinth where he would guard the area. Eventually though, he was destroyed again during a confrontation with the Avatar. Upon his defeat, he dropped one of Coco's special eggs, which the Avatar claimed.[12]
Personality
An exceedingly foul Fusion,[4] Fusion Demongo is incredibly dangerous and a serious threat.[10]
Powers and abilities
Fusion Demongo is among Fuse's most powerful minions and is growing stronger each day.[3][13] The powers he commands from Demongo alone makes him very strong; even Samurai Jack was unable to defeat him.[10] Skills Fusion Demongo has exhibited include:
- Fusion Matter Explosion: On occasion, Fusion Demongo possesses the Eruption Attack, which lets him create a localized explosion of Fusion Matter from the ground. When launching this attack, Fusion Demongo makes the ground below his opponent glow with Fusion Matter for a few seconds before causing a pillar of Fusion Matter to erupt.
- Limited Nano Power Immunity: On occasion, Fusion Demongo possesses the Freedom - Self power, which gives him the following Nano Power immunities:
- Nano Drain: On occasion, Fusion Demongo possesses the Corruption Attack, which lets him drain Nanos of their stamina. When he is attacking a Nano, he will start to glow, which is the wind up, before throwing an attack that will trump her opponent's Nano. Should it make contact, the Nano will lose a lot of stamina. Conversely, if his opponent drops their current Nano and brings out one that deflects the attack back at Fusion Demongo, the Nano will get a boost in stamina. Should Fusion Demongo launch his Corruption Attack on an opponent without a Nano out though, the former will take damage.
- Soul Absorption: Like the real Demongo, Fusion Demongo is able to absorb the souls, and by extension the powers, from warriors of all kinds, be it either their own or those taken by force, to increase his power.[5][9][10][11]
