Fusion Mac is an enemy that appears in Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall. He is the Fusion counterpart of Mac.

Physical appearance

A Fusion clone of Mac, Fusion Mac is an adolescent, human-based creature whose body is made of Fusion Matter. Notably, he has thick dark green hair that covers his ears and menacing and featureless red eyes, but no mouth. For attire, he wears a dark green t-shirt over a gray sweater, dark blue khakis, and black and gray sneakers. He is also always carrying a black backpack.

Gameplay

In gameplay, Fusion Mac is a boss fought in his different Fusion Lairs during certain missions. To target Fusion Mac, align the Avatar with him to make his information window appear on the top of the screen. Should his Health Bar reach zero when battling him, the Fusion Matter animating Fusion Mac will break up, and Fusion Mac will disintegrate.^[1] The player will then automatically receive some Fusion Matter and Taros as reward. However, while Fusion Mac's Taro reward remains consistent, his Fusion Matter reward will decrease for each level the Avatar is above Fusion Mac; if the Avatar is six levels higher than Fusion Mac or more, no Fusion Matter is rewarded. Sometimes, the player also automatically receives loot from defeating Fusion Mac in the form of C.R.A.T.E.s, Nano Potions, and Weapon Boosts.

In battle, Fusion Mac targets the Avatar when they get close enough. However, the higher the Avatar's level is, the closer they can get to Fusion Mac without him attacking them. Once they begin fighting, Fusion Mac will continue attacking until either he is destroyed, the Avatar is defeated, or the Avatar moves too far away from his point of origin. If the Avatar runs away from him, Fusion Mac will follow them until he gets too far away from his area of roaming, at which point he will return, where he will regain his full health instantly. Notably, while retreating, he will be invulnerable to attacks. Also, once defeated, Fusion Mac will respawn after roughly a year.

Fusion Invasion

The Past

In the Past, Fusion Mac was created in the Darklands, specifically in Hero's Hollow.^[2]

Fusion Mac eventually began harassing Coco by sending waves of Creeper Kings to attack her while Freakish Frogs would eat her eggs. While within his Fusion Lair however, Fusion Mac was soon found by the Avatar, who destroyed him in battle.^[3]

Returning some time afterwards, Fusion Mac took up residence in a new Fusion Lair where he was guarded by Striding Lampreys. Despite that, Fusion Mac was destroyed again when the Avatar infiltrated his lair and got through his guards, which produced a Mac Nano for the Avatar from Fusion Mac's remains and the backpack that the Fusion had on him.^[4]

Personality

Fusion Mac is a scary kid and a little runt of a Fusion.^[4][5]

Powers and abilities

Fusion Mac is among Fuse's most powerful minions and is growing stronger each day.^[2][6] Skills Fusion Mac has exhibited include:

• Energy Projection: Fusion Mac can fire blasts of green energy.
• Fusion Matter Explosion: Fusion Mac possesses the Eruption Attack, which lets him create a localized explosion of Fusion Matter from the ground. When launching this attack, Fusion Mac makes the ground below his opponent glow with Fusion Matter for a few seconds before causing a pillar of Fusion Matter to erupt.
• Limited Nano Power Immunity: On occasion, Fusion Mac possesses the Freedom - Self power, which gives him the following Nano Power immunities:
  • Sleep Immunity: Fusion Mac cannot be affected by the Sleep Nano Power.
  • Snare Immunity: Fusion Mac cannot be affected by the Snare Nano Power.
  • Stun Immunity: Fusion Mac cannot be affected by the Stun Nano Power.
• Nano Drain: Fusion Mac possesses the Corruption Attack, which lets him drain Nanos of their stamina. When he is attacking a Nano, he will start to glow, which is the wind up, before throwing an attack that will trump her opponent's Nano. Should it make contact, the Nano will lose a lot of stamina. Conversely, if his opponent drops their current Nano and brings out one that deflects the attack back at Fusion Mac, the Nano will get a boost in stamina. Should Fusion Mac launch his Corruption Attack on an opponent without a Nano out though, the former will take damage.
