The Shattergun is a type of objects in Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall. They are items for the Avatar that are used to combat enemies. Shatterguns come in various designs and colors, some of which are based on content from different medias.

Gameplay

In gameplay, Shatterguns are typically wielded by the Avatar, although some NPCs are also seen wielding them, albeit for purely cosmetic reasons. Classified as Weapons, Shatterguns all affect the Avatar's performance in combat. In comparison to other weapons, Shatterguns allows the Avatar to attack up to three enemies in front of them at the same time over a long range. However, they do not do as much damage as a Rifle. As such, they are quite usable against multiple enemies that try to swarm the Avatar. Furthermore, Shatterguns make use of target reticles; if a Shattergun is going to hit two or more targets, then each target that is in range will display a target reticle.

Notably, the Shatterguns' Vs. One and Vs. Many stats determine how much damage they can deal against lone and multiple enemies respectively; the higher their stats, the more damage they deal. When to wield a Shattergun is best determined by the enemies that the player expects to fight. In general though, Shatterguns are decent against both a single target and groups of enemies.
