Zak Saturday is a NPC in Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall. He is a human, the son of Doc and Drew Saturday, and one of the Secret Scientists.

Physical appearance

Zak is a tan-skinned human boy with black hair that has a white fringe on the front, and black eyes. For attire, he wears an orange sweatshirt with black sleeves and the letter "S" stamped on it, yellow pants and black shoes.

In the Future, Zak made an appearance during the Birthday Bash. Specifically, he would appear in Pokey Oaks South.

The Past

In the Past, Zak made an appearance during the Birthday Bash. Specifically, he would appear in Pokey Oaks South.

Zak was later added permanently along with Fiskerton at Mount Blackhead. If addressed, he may ask if the player has seen Komodo. He also randomly wonders aloud if Doyle has made it to the Darklands yet.

Zak took part in the Mother's Day Event by participating in a mission given to the player by a SKWID Squad Agent.

Zak later seems to attract attention from the Fusions near the border of the Twisted Forest, but lately there has been no sign of them bothering him. He sends the hero to investigate the Granite Grabbers and Creeper Kings. After surveying them, Zak discovers a Fusion lair near the hero's position and sends the hero to enter it and check on the Fusion inside. When inside the hero is attacked by multiple Creeper Kings and is forced to stand them off. After defeating the Creeper Kings, the hero discovers that Fuse created a Fusion Zak to control the Fusions in the area. Fusion Zak attacks the hero, but in the end the hero defeats Zak's Fusion counterpart and receives the Zak Nano.

01.20.2010: Zak was added to the game, along with the Birthday Bash content.^[1] He could be found in Pokey Oaks South and Pokey Oaks South (The Future).
02.10.2010: Zak was removed from the game, along with the Birthday Bash content.
03.10.2010: Zak was added to the game. He could be found on Mount Blackhead, next to Fiskerton.^[2]
07.27.2011: Zak received a Nano.^[3]^[4] It could be obtained by completing "Bad Behavior".
11.11.2012: Zak was removed from the game.

Origin

Zak Saturday, from . — Zak Saturday, from *The Secret Saturdays*.

Zak Saturday originates from the 2008 American animated television series The Secret Saturdays. In that media, he is the main protagonist of the show. The son of Doc and Drew Saturday, and the brother of their adopted children, Fiskerton, Komodo and Zon, Zak is a member of the Secret Scientists. Together with his family, he tracks and saves cryptids, creatures of myth with extraordinary abilities that are not scientifically proven. Somewhat reckless and irresponsible due to a desire to prove himself, Zak is adventurous, quick-witted and compassionate towards both his family and cryptids. He has the power to control cryptids and his choice of weapon is the Claw.

Born the same year the Kur Stone was found, Zak grew up under unorthodox circumstances, his family's occupation as Secret Scientists leading him on various adventures around the world. On their trips, Zak would expand his family by getting his parents to adopt cryptids. In Zak's adolescent years, he and his family sought to prevent V.V. Argost from gaining control of the legendary cryptid Kur, only to later discover that Zak had become the host of Kur's essence while Drew was still pregnant with him. This revelation hit Zak hard, crippling his confidence and making him doubt his own future about whether he would turn out good or evil. Eventually though, after many struggles, Zak and his allies managed to separate Kur from Zak and defeat Argost.

Trivia

Zak is curious when he hears that Fuse's Lair is trying to mix legendary cryptids with his toxic Fusion Matter to create the ultimate Fusion beasts; however, this attempt has not proven a real threat yet.
In FusionFall Retro, Zak was planned to be added in a pre-expansion update. His Nano was also confirmed for this update.
